The Alternative Indian – menu for 6 Aug 21

It’s nearly Tiffin time again!

Remember to get your order in by Thursday 5th August, for your delivery to the Wytch Wood campsite on Friday 6th August at 7.30pm.

The Alternative Indian menu 6 Aug
As always there is a set menu with a meat and vegetarian main, plus papadam, vegetable sides and rice  – plus a fully vegan version as well.   Here’s what delicious Indian food you’ve got to look forward to this week:

  • Khrish’s Keema – local minced beef cooked in North Indian style spices and a tomato, pea and potato gravy

OR

  • Mutter Paneer – firm Indian paneer cheese, pan fried in spices then cooked in a thick tomato and pea gravy – can also be vegan with mushrooms instead of cheese

Both come with:

  • Spiced lentil and chickpea papadam
  • Lentil Cake
  • Mum’s green chutney
  • Salt & Pepper Rice

Please order direct with Khrish on 07940 735263 and let her know of any dietary requirements  or allergens at time of booking

Campers and locals welcome to order – you can either pick it up from the campsite and take home, or if the weather is nice you are welcome to sit on one of the communal tables and enjoy the sunset.  You will need to bring your own cutlery though!

Indian Tiffin at Wytch Wood

Wash it down with a local craft ale or cider

We’ll have our little bar open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday night – fully stocked with a range of  beers from local brewery Gyle 59 near Chard and award winning ciders from Harry’s Cider at Long Sutton. Both have travelled less than 10 miles to get to our bar – we like keeping our food and drink miles to a minimum where possible.  We also offer a range of non-alcoholic drinks and a couple of wine choices to try suit most people’s palates.
